Biography

Frederick John Wilson was a 22 year old married coach builder when he enlisted on the 26th of January 1915. His Unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A18 Wiltshire on the 7th of March 1916. On January 19 1917 he was wounded in action with a gunshot wound to his buttock. He returned to Australia on the 13th of November 1917 and discharged as medically unfit on the 2nd of January 1918.
