Biography

Charles Henry Wilson was a married 31 year old boot maker from Ballarat. He enlisted on the 24th of January 1916. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A23 Suffolk on the 1st of April 1916. On the 26th of September 1917 he was wounded in action. He returned to Australia on the 30th of January 1919 and discharged as medically unfit on the 8th of March 1919 due to chronic bronchitis.
