Biography

Edward Austin Wilson was a single 21 year old blacksmith from Ballarat. He enlisted on the 30th of August 1915 with the 1st Divisional Ammunition Column. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A32 Themistocles on 28 January 1916. He was appointed as a Gunner on the 1st of December 1915 and later returned to Australia on October 7th 1918, discharged as medically unfit on the 17th of February 1919.
