Biography

Edward Meade Jones enlisted in Ballarat, Victoria at the age of 18 on the 2nd of March 1916. He had been born in Ballarat, Victoria, was single, and was employed as a Labourer. He volunteered and was stationed with the 60th Battalion, 2nd Reinforcement later transferring to the 58th Battalion as Regimental number 1679. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 11th of January 1918. Tree number 2193.
