Biography

Fisher Mounsey was a married 44 year old miner at the time of his enlistment on the 6th of March 1916. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A11 Ascanius on the 27th of May 1916.
On the 4th of October 1917, Fisher was wounded in action. He was transferred to England on the 15th of October, and on the 16th of October he was admitted to the City of London Military Hospital in Clapton with multiple gunshot wounds.
On the 5th of July 1918, Fisher returned to Australia. He was discharged due to his wounds on the 13th of August 1918.
