Harry Irwin Madden enlisted in Prahran, Victoria at the age of 21 on the 7th of March 1916. He had been born in Skipton, Victoria, was single, and was employed as a Bookkeeper. He volunteered and was stationed with the 14th Battalion, 21st Reinforcement as Regimental number 6552. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 17th of March 1919. Tree number 2218.
