Biography

Charles Findlay was appointed Lieutenant in 8th Infantry Battalion. He enlisted from Ballarat North on 28th August 1914. He was a 32 year old married bootmaker. He had been born in Echuca. He was killed in action at Herleville on the 23rd August 1918. He is buried in Heath Cemetery, Harbonnieres, France.
