Biography

Austin Herbert Milne was a single 23 year old carpenter at the time of his enlistment on the 20th of August 1914. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board Transport A2 Geelong on the 22nd of September 1914.
On the 28th of June 1918, Austin was invalided to the England, and on the 29th of June was admitted to the Horton County of London War Hospital with Influenza.
Austin returned to Australia on the 27th of January 1919, and was discharged on the 28th of March 1919.
