Biography

Stanley John Thomas was born in Sebastapol and enlisted from there on 20th March 1916. He was 18 years of age, single and working as a plumber. He was drafted into the 39th Infantry Battalion with Regimental No. 614. On 12th October 1917 he wa skilled in action near Passchendaele. His name is on Meinin Gate Memorial, Ypres, Belgium.
