Biography

Louis Harold Christophe Parrot enlisted in Ballarat, Victoria at the age of 18 on the 3rd of April 1916. He had been born in Falmouth, England, was single, and was employed as a Labourer. He volunteered and was stationed with the 39th Battalion, A Company as Regimental number 202. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 25th of August 1917.

Lucas’s Staffs Appreciation of Brave Men, the original Avenue register, records his name as Louis M. Parratt.
