William Henry Matheson was a married 20 year old miner at the time of his enlistment on the 8th of April 1916. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A32 Themistocles on the 28th of July 1916.
William returned to Australia on the 6th of November 1918.
