John Nicholas Eddy was born in Ballarat, Victoria was married and was employed as a Miner. He enlisted in Ballarat, Victoria at the age of 43. He volunteered and was stationed with the 8th Battalion, 19th Reinforcement later transferring to the 60th Battalion with the Regimental number 6015. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 15th of April 1918. Tree number 2331.
