Biography


Born in Ballarat, Victor Cecil Jennens was a married 34 year old dentist at the time of his enlistment on the 16th of April 1916. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A32 Themistocles on the 28th of July 1916.
On the 12th of February 1917 he was appointed Honorary Lieutenant, and then was promoted to Lieutenant on the 6th of April 1917, and on the 12th of February 1918 Victor was promoted to Captain.
His appointment was terminated in London, England on the 8th of August 1919 but to take effect from the 22nd of September 1919.
He returned to Australia on the 14th of June 1920.
