Biography

Born in Melbourne, Victoria, Vernon Francis Harrison was a single 22 year old upholsterer when he enlisted in Ballarat on the 26th of April 1916. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A14 Euripides on the 11th of September 1916.
On the 13th of April 1918, Vernon was wounded in action with a gunshot wound to his left arm.
He returned to Australia on the 27th of July 1919 and was discharged on the 10th of September 1919 due to the termination of his enlistment period.
