Gregor Gordon Robertson (Capt.) was born in Tasmania but educated at Ballarat High School a Captain with the 31st Infantry Battalion. A permanent soldier, he was a graduate of Duntroon Military College, aged 21, when he embarked from Brisbane in November 1915 on board the Wandilla. Serving as a Captain in the 31st Infantry Battalion he was killed in action at Fromelles on July 20th, 1916, and is buried in Tyne Cot Cemetery, Zonnebeke, Belgium.
