Biography

Born in Ballarat, Edward Humphrey was a married 41 year old saw mill hand when he enlisted on the 28th of April 1916. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A32 Themistocles on the 28th of July 1916.
Edward returned to Australia on the 3rd of April 1919 and was discharged as medically unfit on the 11th of May 1919.
