Biography

George Edwards Stephens was born in Gordon, but was a lithographic artist in Malvern when he enlisted on 2nd June 1916. He was 33 years old and single. He joined the 8th Infantry Battalion, with Regimental No. 6600. On 23rd April 1917 he died of wounds inflicted at Noreuil. He is buried in Grevillers British Cemetery, France.
