Frederick Charles Wright was born in Ararat, and enlisted from Ballarat as a clerk on 29th May 1916. He was 23 years old and single. He was posted to the Australian Flying Corps, with Regimental No. 473. On 29th August 1917 he was killed by a revolver bullet. A Court of Enquiry could not determine if it was self-inflicted. However, according to the the AIF Project his death was deemed as accidental. He is buried at Deir el Selah War Cemetery, Israel.
