Biography

Charles Gist was born in Ballarat and enlisted from Ballarat East on 1st October 1914. He was Regimental No. 57 in the 14th Infantry Battalion. He was 21, single and a clerk. He was killed in action at Gallipoli on 27th April 1915, and is buried in Quinn's Post Cemetery, Gallipoli.
