John Robert Eaton was born in Warracknabeal, Victoria was single and was employed as a Viceman Fitter. He enlisted in Ballarat, Victoria at the age of 20. He volunteered and was stationed with the 8th Battalion, 21st Reinforcement with the Regimental number 6503. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 10th of January 1918. Tree number 2458.
