Biography

Born in Ballarat, Reginald George Hutson was a single 27 year old law clerk at the time of his enlistment as Second Lieutenant on the 1st of July 1916. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A71 Nestor on the 2nd of October 1916.
On the 10th of August 1917 he was promoted to Lieutenant.
Reginald returned to Australia on the 2nd of March 1919 and was discharged on the 9th of April 1919.
