Biography

Born in Creswick, Alexander Hamill was a single 37 year old labourer at the time of his enlistment on the 13th of April 1916. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board RMS Orontes on the 16th of August 1916.
He was discharged as medically unfit on the 25th of December 1917 after struggling with chronic bronchitis.
