Biography

Born in Ballarat, Victoria and a labourer by trade, Percy Evan Barnett was 27 years and married when enlisted on the 8th of August 1916 in the 8th Battalion, 21st Reinforcement, Australian Imperial Force, with the rank of Private, Number 6644. His Unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A71 'Nestor' on the 2nd of October 1916 and was listed as returned to Australia per A30 'BORDA' for discharge for Enuresis Varicocle on the 26th of September 1917 and disembarked on 3MD on the 21st of November 1917. Discharged from the 3rd Military District on the 26th of December 1917. Tree No. 2493
