Biography

William Ritchie was born in Bullarook, but on 11th September 1916 he enlisted in Camperdown. He was 26 years old, unmarried, and an engine driver. He went to the 5th Infantry Battalion, with Regimental No. 7071. He was killed in action at Chuignes on 23rd August 1918, and is buried in Tincourt New British Cemetery France.
