Biography

Reginald Eugene Hayhoe was a single 25 year old barman at the time of his enlistment on the 18th of September 1916. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A20 Hororata on the 23rd of November 1916.
On October 4th 1917, Reginald was wounded in action with a gunshot wound to his shoulder. He rejoined his Battalion on the 8th of November 1917.
He returned to Australia on the 5th of September 1919 and was discharged as medically unfit on the 15th of November 1919.
