Biography

Charles Foott enlisted in Melbourne, Victoria at the age of 21 on the 28th of September 1916. He had been born in Ballarat, Victoria, was single, and was employed as a Marine Steward. He volunteered and was stationed with the 6th Battalion, 23rd Reinforcement as Regimental number 6948. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 23rd of September 1919.
