Biography

Leonard Allan Joseph Welsh enlisted in Melbourne, Victoria at the age of 23 on the 4th of October 1916. He had been born in Stawell, Victoria, was single, and was employed as a Shoeing Smith. He volunteered and was stationed with the 6th Battalion, 23rd Reinforcement as Regimental number 7094. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 7th of February 1919. Tree number 2549.
