Roy McDonald Park (SN 133) born in Ballarat, was a 21 year old printer when he enlisted in Melbourne on March 20th 1915. He embarked aboard the Port Macquarie on June 3rd and served in several Field Artillery units, predominantly the 11th Field Artillery Brigade. He avoided battle wounds but did have an extended period of illness in late 1917. He was returned to Australia aboard the Barambah, disembarked at Melbourne on July 31st 1918 and was discharged medically unfit on August 14th.
