Biography

John Harold Wilson was born in Ballarat but enlisted from Bendigo as a mechanical engineer on 23rd July 1915. He was 29 and married. He was appointed Lieutenant in the 37h Infantry Battalion. On 21st July 1917 he was killed in action in the trenches near Messines, and is buried in the Kandahar Farm Cemetery, Neuve-Eglise, Belgium.
