Patrick O'Malley was a farmer from Leigh Creek when he enlisted on 23rd July 1915. He was born in Leigh Creek, and was 24 and unmarried. He was allocated to 23rd Infantry Battalion with Regimental No. 2739. He was killed in the Hazebrouck on 22nd April 1918, and is buried in Ribement Cemetery, France.
