Biography

Robert Benson was born at Glen Park. He stated that he was 21 years old, unmarried and a labourer living in Brown Hill when he enlisted on 9th August 1915. He was posted to 46th Infantry Battalion with Regimental No. 3685. He was killed in the Bullecourt area on 5th February 1917. He is buried in the Bancourt British Cemetery, Pas de Calais, France.รก
