Biography

Carlos Edward Minster was a single 20 year old clerk at the time of his enlistment on the 4th of October 1915. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A18 Wiltshire on the 18th of November 1915.
On the 20th of December 1917, Carlos was taken on strength with the 5th Field Artillery Brigade.
On the 1st of June 1918 he was wounded in action. On the 21st of June he embarked for England and was admitted to hospital, gassed.
Carlos returned to Australia on the 22nd of April 1919, and was discharged as medically unfit on the 14th of June 1919, his debility not being stated.
