Biography

Harold Thompson Williams was a single 21 year old municipal clerk from Ballarat. He enlisted on the 1st of March 1916. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A11 Ascanius on the 27th of May 1916. On June 7th 1917 he was wounded in action after being gassed. He returned to Australia on the 5th of February 1919 and discharged on the 15th of March 1919.
