Biography

Born in Ballarat, Herbert Leo Goodlett was a single iron moulder at the time of his first enlistment on the 10th of September 1914 at the age of 18. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A54 Runic on the 19th of February 1915 After returning home for the first time around May 1915, he enlisted again on the 8th of August 1915 at the age of 19. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board RMS Persia on 10 August 1915.
Herbert was discharged on the 27th of April 1916.
