George Royston Allan Watts (SN 14335) born at Bullarook, was a 21 year old postal assistant when he enlisted in Melbourne on February 21st 1916. He trained at the AIF Signal School before he embarked aboard the Morea on May 30th. He served with the 1st Wireless Squadron in India where he was troubled by sickness but was able to avoid battle wounds. He returned to Australia aboard the Raeburn, disembarked at Melbourne on February 16th 1918 and was discharged on March 26th ‘medically unfit, heart disease’.
