William Charles Finnis enlisted in Wellington, New Zealaland and was Married on Enlistment. He was born in Ballarat and employed as a Soldier in the Defence Department of New Zealand. He volunteered and was stationed with the 2nd Battalion, 24th Reinforcement as Regimental number 51976. He was discharged and Returned to New Zealand on the 21st of March 1919. Tree number 2694.
