Biography

Born in Beaufort, Victoria, Stanley Nettleton Mason was a single 23 year old carpenter at the time of his enlistment in Ardlethan, New South Wales on the 17th of February 1916. His unit embarked from Sydney, New South Wales, on board HMAT A14 Euripides on the 9th of September 1916.
Stanley returned to Australia on the 23rd of October 1919, and was discharged as medically unfit on the 25th of December 1919 due to suffering with Pleurisy.
