Herbert Flack was born in Polkemmet, Victoria was single and was employed as a Labourer. He enlisted in Horsham, Victoria at the age of 28. He volunteered and was stationed with the 38th Battalion, C Company later transferring to the 6th Battalion with the Regimental number 1040. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 11th of August 1920. Tree number 2719.
