Biography

Harold Edward Trethowan was born in Melbourne, but enlisted from Brown Hill on 7th August 1915. He was a carpenter, 24 years old and unmarried. He was allocated to the 46th Infantry Battalion, with Regimental No. 3930. During his service he was promoted Lance Sergeant. On 4th November 1917 he was killed in action near Bullecourt. His name is on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France
