Thomas Claude Finlayson (SN: 6264) enlisted on 1st May 1916 and was posted to the 8th Infantry Battalion. He was born in Ballarat, 19 years old, single, and a bank clerk from Ballarat North.
In the fighting at Passchendaele he received severe wounds and died on 5th October 1917. He is buried in the Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery.
