William John Lakeland enlisted on the 12th of July 1916. He had been born in Ballarat, Victoria, was single, and volunteered at the Cadet College, Australia. He volunteered and was Attached to the Yorkshire Regiment, Britain later joining the Indian Army Reserve Officers as Regimental number 1930. Tree number 2764.
