Michael Francis Willis was a single 29 year old groom when he enlisted on the 14th of October 1916. His unit embarked from Sydney, New South Wales, on board HMAT A29 Suevic on the 11th of November 1916.
He returned to Australia on July 5th 1917 and was discharged as medically unfit on the 13th of August 1917.
