Biography

Born in Ballarat, John Thomas Marshall was a single 18 year old butcher at the time of his enlistment on the 9th of September 1916. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A17 Port Lincoln on the 20th of October 1916.
John returned to Australia on the 2nd of July 1919, and was discharged due to the termination of his enlistment period on the 9th of August 1919.
