Biography

James Greenbank, a labourer from Ballarat, enlisted in the Field Artillery Brigade 2, Reinforcement 1 on 21 September 1914 with Regimental No. 3225 (2745 on Nominal Roll) as a Driver. He was admitted briefly for influenza on 16 December 1916, and again for mumps on 7 February 1917 before transferring to the 12th Field Artillery Brigade on 13 April 1917. After another stay in hospital due to illness and dental issues he returned to Australia 8 October 1918.
