Biography

A packer by trade, Charles Hibbins was a single 24 year old when he enlisted on the 15th of March 1917. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A11 Ascanius on the 11th of May 1917.
Charles was appointed Lance Corporal on the 29th of July 1918.
He returned to Australia on the 5th of September 1919 and was discharged as medically unfit on the 22nd of October 1919.
