John Robert Wills was a machine horseshoe maker from Ballarat. He was a single 22 year old when he enlisted on the 22nd of September 1914. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board Transport A18 Wiltshire on the 19th of October 1914.
He was appointed Driver on February 27th 1917.
He returned to Australia on the 24th of December 1918 and discharged due to the termination of his enlistment period on the 22nd of December 1919.
