Francis Robert McGregor (SN 17497), born in Ballarat, was a single 26 year old draper at the time of his enlistment in Melbourne, Victoria on the 13th of March 1917. He embarked from Sydney, New South Wales, on board the No 2 Hospital Ship Kanowa on 21st March 1917 arriving at Avonmouth Bristol, UK and returned to Australia on 26th June 1917. Frank was discharged at his own request on the 6th of October 1917.
