Biography

Charles Wilson was a saddler from Ballarat East when he enlisted on 6th June 1917. He was born in Ballarat and was 22 and single. He was posted to the 59th Infantry Battalion, with Regimental No. 3490. During his service he was promoted to Sergeant. On 5th April 191 he was killed in action in the Corbie area, and is buried in the Adelaide Cemetery, Villers-Bretonneux, France.
