Biography

Born in Milbrook, Victoria, William Henry Leach was a married 28 year old carpenter at the time of his enlistment on the 23rd of February 1917. His unit embarked from Sydney, New South Wales, on board HMAT A68 Anchises on the 8th of August 1917.
On the 2nd of April 1917 he was appointed Sapper.
William returned to Australia on the 6th of November 1919 and was discharged as medically unfit on the 9th of March 1920.
