Biography

Born in Ballarat, John Lamont was a single 44 year old tailor at the time of his enlistment in Melbourne, Victoria on the 2nd of January 1917. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A71 Nestor on the 21st of November 1917.
John returned to Australia on the 8th of October 1919 and was discharged due to the termination of his enlistment period on the 7th of November 1919.
